The Mediatrix software solutions are the result of various research projects by ITyX in a scientific environment of leading German universities and research institutions. Auto-adaptive methods are used that are based on state-of-the-art systems of linguistic and AI (Artificial intelligence). Texts can be analysed and understood independent of structure and composition. The ITyX methods are independent of language and can analyse and process information in any language.Along with recognition (text mining) and distribution (data routing) of documents, ITyX methods extract data and evaluation groups from documents (information extraction) after a plausibility control and file them indexed in existing knowledge management systems. Various data sources are consolidated and made accessible by the ITyX-ContEx Knowledge Management (Information Retrieval). ITyX-own methods such as the PTME© (Power Text Mining Engine) or Neural Mind considerably increase the recognition rates regarding text mining compared to conventional AI-based classification methods. By feedback from so-called positive and negative examples, ITyX methods can monitor the reaction of team members during information analysis and process and include these by ‘knowledge/conclusion’ in future procedures. Monitoring these processes and the team members along with acquisition of new information from these observations allow ITyX methods the convergence of classification rates to the utmost optimum. The methods and experiences for the Mediatrix software modules result from the research activities since 1998, with which large service organisations in Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland and Slovakia have automated their digital customer contacts by e-mail, web, text message, letter and fax.
