ITyX is an owner-led, independent software company that originally specialised on developing individual software for security critical finance systems focusing on banking and insurance. As a result of research in computer linguistic, Mediatrix ERMS was developed in 2002 as the first auto-adaptive software solution for the classification, distribution and response of e-mail messages to central business mailboxes. The first important references who appreciated the functional density and flexibility of the contact centre solutions were rapidly won. ITyX matured into the leading German provider of AI-based response management solutions for contact centres between 2005 and 2007. During this time the company increased its business volume over fivefold and acquired over 40 new team members. 2007 saw the introduction of the Mediatrix MAILROOM and Mediatrix SELF-SERVICE software solutions that are based on the new ContEx technology from ITyX. The numerous methods for classification and processing of text contents were considerably improved in a weighted scoring system (ITyX Booster). Compared to classical incoming mail solutions, the ITyX methods reach considerably higher dark process quotes for the classification of letters and archive documents. Solutions from ITyX are designed for operation in the central customer service of middle to large organisations that process a high percentage of written and Internet-based queries. Originally intended for the contact centre branch, ITyX products are increasingly being used in central IT projects for the operational systems critical for business.
