Routine data capture: secure, fast, simple with Mediatrix VIRTUAL AGENT

The VIRTUAL AGENT provides a highly effective way to automate each type of routine data capture. It captures, validates and transfers data automatically in existing ERP-HOST-environments. The Mediatrix VIRTUAL AGENT (VA) repeats the capture and test process, and executes the necessary process steps automatically. A member of staff is only needed if the data is incomplete of if a test process could not be completed.

Using a secure remote connection – without adjusting existing systems – all previous process jobs that were cost and personnel intensive, can now be carried out automatically.

The VA has various applications, for example it is used to capture data from applications and contract documents or in legacy systems with missing interfaces, SAP-capture, master data capture, manual migration and maintenance of twin systems.

The Process
When implemented, the VA replicates the data capture process previously carried out manually by a member of staff. The process is automatic so it is important that the test routines of the existing capture systems are used. A mapping of these routines in the course of an interface solution is omitted.

If any data is missing or not accepted by the system, the transaction is forwarded to an available member of staff for manual check and completion. In this way, the original process is maintained but all routine operations are automated by the VA.

The Result

The Integration
The Virtual Agent is a scalable service within the CONTEX platform of ITyX. The VA can therefore be operated as part of the CONTEX solution on dedicated application servers, but also as a stand alone system. Control of the client is possible using a secure remote access such as Citrix or VNC.
